Community Outreach

Great Plains Coca-Cola takes an active part in our community. We donate products to many of the local schools; as well as, various non-profit groups each year. During times of disaster, part of our giving back to the community includes making sure that rescue and relief workers are kept hydrated.

United WayGreat Plains also participates in the United Way. This past year, our associates donated over $20,000. United Way is a national network of nearly 1,300 local organizations that work to advance the common good by focusing on education, income and health. These are the building blocks for a good life: a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and good health.

We have partnered with many of the major colleges and universities to provide a unique experience for their students, faculty, and staff. Not only do we deliver drinks to them, we also offer vending services campus wide.

Great Plains coordinates special events in the community that includes Nascar and Family Fun Fest. For more information please visit the Special Events section of our website.

In March of 2009, Great Plains Coca-Cola sponsored a new children's zoo barn at the Tulsa Zoo in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
